People have been using massage for thousands of years. It is a method of warming and manipulating muscle and tissue in order to relieve pain, stress and losen 'knots'. It can help someone relax.
For one of my massage sessions, I will welcome you into my home. On arrival we will discuss your needs, where you are in pain?where you feel tension? Do you have any allergies?
I aim to provide a safe comfortable environment. I usually play some quiet music, you are welcome to suggest what you would like to listen to, or you may prefer no music.
I am fully insured and am trained in first aid should anything unexpected happen.
Each session is different, no two people are the same and every body changes all the time.
The massage takes place on a massage table. It will be comfortably warm. There will be clean towls.
Some people choose to be naked for a massage but this is not mandatory. Some people prefer to wear underwear, a swim suit or shorts. Whatever you choose is right for you. Everyone will be covered with a sheet, this is to preserve your modesty and to keep you warm.
I only use unscented almond oil, if you have alergies please let me know. Be aware that massage oil can leave stains on clothing, so if you prefer to keep some clothing on be prepared.
There is a shower available should you wish to shower after your massage.
